Sand, shells and sunshine, whether or not there is a beach nearby.
Best for ages 2 to 10
A beach party brings the seaside to the garden: ocean blue, sand and coral, with beach balls and towels as the decorations. A paddling pool or a sprinkler finishes the job on a warm day.
Plan games you can get wet in. A beach ball relay, a shell hunt in a tub of sand and a limbo contest under a pool noodle cover the afternoon. Sunglasses or buckets and spades make favors the guests will use again.
