A fire truck party gives every guest a job, which is half the fun at this age. Hand out plastic helmets at the door, and the children turn into a crew before the cake has even come out.
Engine red with flame orange and siren yellow carry the room. A water spray game in the garden, putting out cardboard flames with spray bottles, is the game they will want again and again. Finish with a crawl through the smoke tunnel and a badge for every firefighter.

Pass the water down the line from one bucket to the other. The fullest bucket at the whistle wins.
