Mickey Mouse
Red, black and yellow, polka dots and a clubhouse full of friends.
Best for ages 1 to 5
A Mickey Mouse party is the classic first theme, and the colours do almost all the work: bright red, black and a little sunny yellow, with white polka dots on everything. Paper plate ears at the door turn every guest into part of the club in a minute.
Keep it simple for the youngest guests. A dance to cheerful music, a button hunt round the room and a red cake with yellow candles is a full afternoon at this age, and a nap afterwards is part of the plan.
