Pokémon
Pikachu yellow, Poké Ball red and a party where everyone is a trainer.
Best for ages 4 to 10
Pokémon has been a birthday staple for nearly thirty years, which means the parents planning these parties often grew up with it too. Pikachu yellow and Poké Ball red carry the room, with a strong blue from the original logo to hold it together.
The theme has a built-in game: hide Pokémon around the house or garden and send the trainers out to catch them all. A pack of trading cards in each goodie bag is the favor every child at this age actually wants.
