Super Mario
Coins, mushrooms, question blocks and a power-up on every plate.
Best for ages 4 to 10
Mario is built from simple shapes, which makes it one of the easiest themes to make at home. Cardboard boxes painted yellow with a question mark hold the favors, green paper tubes become pipes, and gold chocolate coins are the confetti everyone eats.
Red, blue and gold carry the table, with brick brown and pipe green for the scenery. A coin hunt is the game that never fails, and a kart race on ride-on toys or paper plate steering wheels ends the party at full speed.
